The following is a highlight of past projects Western Pacific Metalworks has executed and contributed to.
Originally established to service the forestry sector in British Columbia, we have continually adapted and improved to service the expanding industrial base within the northwest. This includes welding, fabrication, and equipment installations for the oil & gas industry, as well as providing off-site fabrication and on-site installation and maintenance services to the local mining operations.
We are continually growing, and look forward to contributing to the vase number of projects in the northwest.

Mall Renovations, Exterior Improvements
2011: Usak Turkey
Mechanical Construction Support: Mechanical supervision and integration of material handling equipment for phase 2 mine upgrade.

2008/2010: Prince George BC
Shutdown Contract: Assisted with major maintenance and hardware upgrades in a light oil refinery during site shutdowns.

2010: Terrace BC
Fuel Sampling Building: General Contractor for the construction of a fuel sampling and storage building located within an existing fuel terminal site.

2009: Terrace BC
Fuel Terminal Upgrade: Major maintenance and upgrade contract including valve installations, MOV upgrades, sampling instrumentation installation, cable tray, valves, and fuel sampling huts.

2007: Ho Chi Mein, Vietnam
Veneer Plant Reassembly: Oversee and direct the installation of
slicer, dryer, shears, scanners, feed tables, and electrical equipment of
dismantled Veneer Equipment.

2005: Haida Gwaii BC
Tank Farm Upgrade: Major maintenance and upgrades to bulk fuel terminal on the Queen Charlotte Islands.

2007: Terrace BC
Veneer Plant Disassembly: Dismantling and extraction of a Veneer
facility located in Terrace, BC. The project included the electrical and
mechanical removal of equipment and loading onto containers for shipment
overseas.

2004: Liard BC
Structural
Installation: Modify and retrofit
existing structural members to fit new structure and the Installation of a
6-ton overhead crane.

2004: LaCrete AB
Trimmer Installation: Installation, integration and Commissioning of a 100’ board trimmer line. Installations included
in feed decks, board dealer, and time log table, trim saws, trimmer out feed
log chain, and incline deck, scanner, and even end rolls.

Equipment Installation: Removal
of existing equipment and installation of new stacker and automatic stick
placer.

2003: Prince George BC
Dry Kiln Renovation: Project management, installation and
commissioning of down draft dry kiln line shafts. Project included kiln door
and kiln cart replacements, and kiln plenums.
